BNP will observe a “symbolic hunger strike” on Friday demanding unconditional release of its party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia and her good treatment.

The strike will begin at 9:00 am and continue till 12:00 pm in front of National Press Club in Dhaka.

Bangladesh Sammilita Peshajibi Parishad (BSPP) will organise the symbolic hunger strike.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will be present there as the chief guest.
