BNP councillor candidate lands in jail
BNP-backed councillor candidate Tajuddin Ahmed Taju has been sent to jail in a case of sabotage.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Ashek Imam passed the order on Friday.
Tajuddin Ahmed Taju is a councillor candidate for no. 32 ward of Dhaka South City Corporation.
Bangshal Thana Police arrested him in front of the office of Returning Officer on Thursday.
