Maulana Mamunul Haque the leader of Hefazat-e-Islam among 100 people have been sued in three cases filed with Sonargaon Police Station in Narayanganj.

Besides, nearly other 600 unknown were accused in the cases.

Police filed two cases while a journalist, who was attacked later, lodged the other lawsuit on Tuesday (April 06).

Khandoker Tobibur Rahman, Inspector of Sonargaon Police Station, confirmed over the cases.

The cases were filed over incident of vandalism and attack on police after Mamunul Haque along with a woman was sieged at Royal Resort at Sonargaon on Saturday (April 04).
