Law ministry’s opinion on Khaleda Zia’s application Sunday
The law ministry will give its opinion Sunday on an application submitted by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger brother Shamim Eskander seeking permission to take her abroad for advanced medical treatment.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Anisul Huq said this while talking to the journalists on Saturday.
In responding to a question, the ministry will inform its decision about this on Sunday (October 1).
In an interview with Voice of America (VOA) on Saturday (September 30), Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia will have to go to jail again and go to court for permission if she wishes to go abroad for treatment.
