Bangladesh has directed the authorities concerned of all the commercials banks in sea, land and airport ports to keep operational 24 hours a day.

Following the request of Financial Institutions Department of Finance Ministry, letters were sent to the chiefs executive officers of banks issuing a circular in this regard.

Besides, it also asked the scheduled banks to keep their card-based transactions (Booths) open 24/7 for the benefit of consumers during Eid vacation.
