The government has reduced the bottled soybean oil price by Tk 10 a litre at retail.

As per the new price, a one-litre bottle of soybean oil will sell for Tk 189, down from Tk 199.

Senior Commerce Secretary Tapan Kanti Ghosh disclosed the information on Sunday (June 11).

The price of loose palm super oil has been reduced by Tk 2 from Tk 135 to Tk 133 per litre, he said.

According to the new price, a five-litre bottle of soybean oil will sell for Tk 945 from the current Tk 995.
