Bangladesh has reported 96 deaths from Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, which is the highest ever single-day deaths, raising the toll to 9, 987 across the country.The death troll from Covid-19 surpasses rapidly across the country.

Besides, 5,185 new cases of coronavirus were detected over the same period, raising the total number of infections to 7,03,170 across the country so far.

A press release issued by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) confirmed the development on Wednesday (April 14).

Some 5,333 people made recovery from the deadly virus over the same period, climbing the total number of recovered cases to 5,91,199 across the country.
