BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia has been tested positive for Covid-19 said BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

He made the disclosure in an urgent press briefing at BNP Chairperson’s Gulshan office in the capital on Sunday (April 11) afternoon.

Fakhrul said, “Khaleda Zia is fine now. Her condition is stable. She has no fever and no other symptoms as well. Now advice will be taken from the doctors for her medical procedure. Her treatment has already started. She is now under the care of private physicians. Time measure will be taken when treatment is needed.”
