The election commission is going to announce the first phase election schedule of municipality elections. The voting will be held using Electronic Voting Machine (also known as EVM).

EC’s senior secretary Md Alamgir made the announcement at a press briefing on Thursday (November 19).

He said, documents have been sent to hold the first phase election of the municipality within December 27 to 29.

After getting approval from the commission, the schedule will be announced, he added.
