Hair of a housewife was allegedly cut off and she was assaulted centering family dispute in Bhangura upazila of Pabna on Friday.

Victim Khadiza Khatun, 25, is the wife of Shahed Fakir, a resident of Sultanpur village in the upazila.

The woman filed a written complaint with Bhangura police station in this regard.

She said, centering family dispute, her husband, father-in-law and mother-in-law tied her with rope around 3:00am and cut off her hair.

Bhangura police station officer-in-charge confirmed the matter.
