Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder said corruption during paddy purchase will not be allowed.

The minister made the opinion while addressing a view exchange meeting with the officials of food and agriculture departments at Chapainawabganj on Saturday noon.

He said steps should be taken so that farmers can get a fair price of paddy.

Meanwhile, he also urged the officials of food department to stay away from intermediary.

Aiming the government officials, the food minister said, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, increased our salaries sufficiently. So you guys (officials) will work for people of the country leaving corruption.

Chapainawabganj reserved seat MP Ferdousi Islam Jessi, deputy director AZM Nurul Haque, Police super Rakib Uddin and others attended the meeting.
