At least six people including a child received bullet injury in clashes between quota protesters and police on Wednesday (July 17) evening.

The clashes took place between 6:00pm to 8:00pm.

The bullet-hit people have been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).

The bullet-hit people are Babu Mia, 50, his son Rohit Mia, passers-by Pias, 17, Monirul, 20, Sohag, 27, and Foisal, 18.

DMCH police camp Inspector Bachchu Mia confirmed the news.
