President leaves for Singapore for treatment

President Mohammmed Shahabuddin left Dhaka for Singapore on Monday morning to undergo medical treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital.

A commercial flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines Ltd, carrying the President and his entourage members, left Hazrat Shahjalal (R) International Airport for Singapore at 8:50am.

President’s Press Secretary Md Joynal Abedin confirmed the matter.

Liberation War Affairs Minister AKM Mozammel Haque, Deans of the Diplomatic Corps, Cabinet Secretaries, Chiefs of three services, the Foreign Secretary, IGP, and other top officials saw off the president at the airport.
