New Zealand to play ODI series against Tigers ahead of World Cup

Just after their Asia Cup mission, Bangladesh will take on New Zealand for a three-match ODI series at home, which is seen as the preparation platform for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup.

The New Zealand team will arrive in Bangladesh on September 17 while three ODIs are scheduled to be held on September 21, 23 and 26. All of the matches will be day-night affairs, beginning at 2PM and hosted by Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium, Mirpur.

Following the World Cup, New Zealand will return to Bangladesh on November 21 to play two Tests, the first of which begins on November 28. The second and final Test starts from December 6 but the venues for those two Test matches are yet to be decided.

But it is learnt the first Test will be held in Sylhet while the second one in Dhaka. Bangladesh will then visit New Zealand at the end of this year for three ODIs and as many T20 Internationals.
