The government has extended Eid-ul-Azha holidays by a day.

The decision came at a cabinet meeting held on Monday with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

As per the decision, June 27 has been included in the Eid holidays.The Eid-ul-Azha may be celebrated in the country on June 29 according to the moon sighting.

A meeting of the National Moon Sighting Committee is scheduled to be held this evening to determine the date of Eid-ul-Azha.
