Leaders of Bangladesh Truck-Covered Van Owners’ Association have held a meeting with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal on Saturday (October 6) noon.

Despite the meeting, no decision regarding the withdrawal of the nationwide transport strike called to protest the latest hike in fuel prices was made yet.

Several leaders of Bangladesh Truck-Covered Van Owners’ Association met the home minister at his Dhanmondi residence in the capital this morning. Later, the minister listened to them and gave them assurance. But the Association leaders have decided of not withdrawing the transport strike until the latest hike in fuel prices is reduced.
