West Indies set 143-run target for Tigers

West Indies have set a 143-run target for Bangladesh in their third match of Super 12 phase in the ICC Mens Twenty20 World Cup-2021 at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah on Friday (October 29).

Windies scored 142 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Nicholas Pooran hit a quick innings of 40 runs off 22 balls which includes a boundary and four over boundaries.

Shimron Hetmyer scored 9 runs while Evin Lewis and Chris Gayle hit 6 and 4 runs respectively.

For Bangladesh, Mustafizur Rahman, Shoriful Islam and Mahedi Hasan shared two wickets each.

Roston Chase scored 39 runs from 46 balls with two boundaries.

Jason Holder (unbeaten) posted 15 runs while skipper Kieron Pollard (unbeaten) bagged 14 runs.
