Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal has said that no policeman will be spared if he or she commits a crime.

Those who have been accused recently will be investigated, and disciplinary actions will be taken against them.

The minister told reporters after a National Mourning Day programme on Friday (August 13th).

At a distribution programme of relief items organised by Dhaka Metropolitan North unit of Awami League, the home minister further said that the name of a police officer has come up with the recent incident in the showbiz arena. An investigation committee has already been formed and he has been transferred. If he is found guilty in that case, of course, he will get punishment, he said.

The minister also said the law is the same for everyone.
