The story behind Joe Biden’s viral photo through social media is completely a  lie.

The story behind the viral image is that US President Biden is on his knees apologizing to the child of George Floyed, a black man killed by Minneapolis police officer Derek Chavin.

But this picture is not at all. This is a picture of September 2020. And the boy in the picture with Biden is named CJ Brown. And it’s taken in Detroit, Michigan.

The caption to the photo, taken on September 9, 2020, shows U.S. presidential candidate and former vice president Joe Biden talking to CJ Brown during a trip to Detroit, Michigan, to buy some clothes for his grandchildren at a store called Three Thattin.

Reuters has checked the facts of this picture. Biden apologizes to George Fluid’s daughter In fact, this is not true.
The fact is that there is a video of Biden with Floyd’s six-year-old daughter. It was performed during Floyd’s funeral on June 9, 2020 in Houston.
