Hefazat-e-Islam top leaders joined a meeting  with Home Minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal at his residence in city on Monday night (April 19)

The meeting started at 10.00pm and continued about one hour.

However, they did not say anything about the meeting to media personnel.

After the meeting, Hefajat Secretary General Nurul Islam avoided the media saying that he was ill.

A source said the meeting was attended by Hefajat Naibe Amir Maulana Ataullah Hafezi, Hefazat Secretary General Nurul Islam Jihadi, Mamunul Haque’s brother Maulana Mahfuzul Haque, Principal Mizanur Rahman (Deonar Pir), home ministry officials and senior police officials.
