A fire broke out at a garment factory called Silver Garment Factory in Savar near the capital on Saturday.

According to sources, the fire originated at the seventh floor of the factory ‘Silver Apparels’ around 5.30am.

Being informed, six units of the fire service rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control around 8.00am.

Officer of Savar Fire Service Station Jahangir Alam confirmed the news.
