The supply of gas in Narayanganj and Munshiganj  has been temporarily suspended since Tuesday (April 06) morning.

Mir Mohammad Aslam Uddin, deputy chief information officer at the Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Ministry, said, “There were leakages on some of the valves at Siddhirganj-Godnail RMS and Godnail TBS. Repair work has already begun. Gas supply in the areas will be restored once the repair work completes.”

“State Minister for Power, Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid has directed the authority of Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution Company Ltd to normalize the gas supply in the Narayanganj and Munshiganj districts,” he said.
