The life of city people almost normal in spite of Hefazats hartal
In Dhaka city people’s life seems almost normal in spite of the dawn to dusk hartal enforced by Hefazot Islam.
Traffic flow on the streets was as usual. Vehicular movement is found quite normal in the capital city Dhaka. No subversive and unpleasant incident is yet to be reported when this story was filed.
A good number of passenger vehicles were plying on different routes carrying mainly the office-goers in the morning, reports this correspondent. However, the number of private cars were few in the capital.
Additional law enforcers were seen patrolling in key areas of the capital. But, no supporters of hartal were seen.
On the other hand, the number of three wheelers (rickshaw-CNG) is increased during the ongoing hartal.
Jatrabari Traffic Sergeant Mizanur Rahman said, the pressure of private car is a bit less today than other working days.
