Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Maleque has urged private hospital authorities for full support in tackling the second wave of coronavirus.

He said, “The government will fix medical fees, test fees and other fees related to healthcare in private hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centers.”

The Minister said this at the Healthcare Review Meeting at the secretariat on Wednesday (November 18).

He said, “Hospitals will be given category-based fees. A strong committee will be formed from the ministry in a few days. The next step will be taken as per the report of this committee.”
