Instruction issued to conduct mobile court to ensure use of mask

Law enforcement agencies have been instructed to take a tough stance including operating mobile court to ensure wearing masks in the capital.

In reply to a query while briefing reporters after the cabinet meeting, Cabinet Secretary Khandker Anwarul Islam on Monday (November 16) said this.

Earlier the virtual meeting was held with Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in the chair.

PM attended the meeting through video conference from her official residence Gonobhabon while other ministers from the cabinet division of the Secretary.

Khandker Anwarul Islam said, “Covid (coronavirus) infections seem to be on the rise. Law enforcement agencies has been instructed to take a tough stance, including operating mobile courts to ensure wearing masks in the capital.

He further said, “PM Sheikh Hasina came with the instruction over use of mask from fear of increasing the infection of coronavirus in winter.”

When it will be visible, he said in response to a question from reporters, it will be seen in the next two to three days.

Meanwhile at least 21 people died of coronavirus in the last 24 hours across the country so far, raising the total number death from the deadly virus to 6, 215.
