The government is considering to introduce death penalty for rapists of children and women.

Law Minister Anisul Haq said this to journalists in front of his residence in the city on Wednesday morning.

“As people are demanding we are considering to bring various changes in the present rape laws to introduce the death penalty for rapists of children and women whose cases involve aggravating factors”, the minister said.
