The Sirajganj-1 seat of the late Mohammad Nasim, a former health minister and senior Awami League leader, has been declared vacant by the Parliament Secretariat.

Wednesday (June 17) Senior Secretary of the Parliament Secretariat. Zafar Ahmed Khan declared his seat vacant and the gazette was published on the same day.

It is said that the 62 Sirajganj-1 seat of the Eleventh Jatiya Sangsad became vacant on that date as the Member of Parliament Mohammad Nasim passed away on the morning of 13th June, 2020.

Kamal Hossain, assistant director of the public relations branch of the Jatiya Sangsad Secretariat, said this on Thursday (June 18).
