Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi has been diagnosed with positive for deadly coronavirus.

Senior official of the ministry Abdul Latif Bakshi confirmed the news to risingbd on Wednesday.

He said, “Report on Wednesday confirmed that Commerce Minister contracted with coronavirus.”

He further said, “Sir (Tipu Munshi) is feeling better physically. He urged all to keep him in pray.”

Abdul Latif Bakshi said, “After the report was confirmed, he has already started for Ever Care (former Apollo) Hospital for admission as part of caution. Initially, he wants to take treatment after being admitted to the hospital.”
