91 of Parliament Secretariat infected with coronavirus
The National Parliament went into budget session on June 10. Ahead of the budget session, samples of officials and employees of the House have been collected to test for coronavirus.
A total of 91 were detected with coronavirus positive, out of 955 officials and employees who gave samples for test.
Ariful Haque, chief medical officer of the National Parliament Medical Centre, confirmed the news on Wednesday.
He said, “Samples of 955 officials and employees were collected from June 1 to June 16. Of them, 91 were diagnosed with positive coronavirus.”
He further said, “All who were found positive with coronavirus have been sent on home quarantine.”
