Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan is no more

Recently, Irfan Khan suddenly fell ill while at home. He was rushed to a hospital. Irfan is accompanied by his wife Sutapa Sikder and two sons. Earlier, the news of his death spread when he was taken to the ICU. His death has cast a shadow of mourning over Bollywood.

The star actor was suffering from various complex diseases including colon infection for a long time. He was last seen at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. Irfan Khan’s spokesman said he died on Wednesday while undergoing treatment there.

Irfan Khan’s mother Saida Begum died at her home in Jaipur last Saturday (April 25). He could not see his mother for the last time due to the ongoing lockdown in India. Meanwhile, Irrfan Khan himself fell ill.

In February 2016, Irfan Khan was diagnosed with a neuro-endocrine tumor. After that the actor was treated in London for a long time. He returned to India in April last year.

Irfan’s comeback movie at the box office was ‘English Medium’. Although this movie did not last even a week due to Corona. The movie is currently being streamed on digital platform Disney Hotstar.
