At least two persons were killed and three other injured in a head-on collision between a truck and a pickup van in Narsingdi on Friday.

The accident took place in front of Pakija Spinning Mills on Dhaka-Sylhet highway.

Officer-in-Charge of Madhabdi Thana Abu Taher confirmed the news.

The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 34, helper of the pick-up van and son of Mina Mia at Mulpara of Narsingdi sadar upazila, and Abdul Barek Prodhan, 55, a passenger of the pickup van and son of late Khadem Ali Prodhan of the locality.
