40 gold bars seized at Dhaka airport
A preventive team of Dhaka Customs House seized 40 gold bars weighing around 4.64 kg from a staircase at Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka on Saturday.
Sources said the gold bars were found under a staircase of US Bangla Airlines around 5:30 pm.
Dhaka Custom House officer Solaiman Hossain confirmed the matter to jonotarsomoy.com.
The market price of the seized gold is approximately Tk 2.32 crore.
