In just one day, 80 US soldiers were killed in a missile attack in Iran
Iran claims at least five US troops have been killed in a US missile attack on a US airbase in Iraq. Iranian state TV reported this, news agency Reuters reported.
More than a dozen missiles have been fired from Al-Assad US airport in western Iraq’s Al-Anbar province from Tuesday afternoon and later in Iraq’s Kurdish-dominated Iraqi airspace in central Iraq.
Iranian state TV says Iran has launched a missile attack on al-Assad in Iraq in retaliation for the assassination of Iranian General Qasim Soleimani in a US attack in Baghdad.
According to Iraqi military data, a total of 22 missiles attacked US airstrikes. Two of these missiles were ineffective, while the rest were targeted.
The United States acknowledged the attack but did not report any casualties.
