Seven people were killed following a head-on collision between two auto-rickshaws and a bus on Cumilla-Noakhali regional highway at Bagmara in Lalmai upazila on Sunday.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

The accident took place when the CNG-run auto-rickshaw, battery-run auto-rickshaw and bus collided head-on, leaving seven passengers of the three vehicles dead on the spot around 11:45am, said Md Badrul Alam Talukdar, officer-in-charge (OC) of Lalmai Police Station.

Police recovered the bodies and sent those to Cumilla Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.
