A case has been filed against Priya Saha for telling lies to US President Donald Trump in a meeting at the White House in Washington, DC.

Golam Mostafa Kamal, a former Bangladesh Chhatra League leader, filed the case with Jashore Senior Judicial Magistrate Court on Sunday.

Priya, one of the organising secretaries of Bangladesh Hindu-Bouddha-Christian Oikya Parishad, told the US president that 37 million Hindu, Buddhist and Christian people have disappeared from Bangladesh.

The statement was captured on a video and went viral on social media platforms.
