Detectives have recovered Tk 57 lakh stolen from actor Ananta Jalil’s business organization, AJI Group, at Savar.

DB police also held four persons including a driver of the company in this connection from Joynagar village under Daulatkhan upazila in Bhola district.

They were produced before a Dhaka court on Wednesday noon and confessed to stealing money.

The arrestees are driver Md Shahid Biswas, 37, his wife Arju Begum, 26, Md Juel, 21, and Md Shahabuddin,33.

After their confessional statement, Tk 20 lakh was recovered after digging yard of main accused in Bhola district.
