President mourns death of Ershad
President Abdul Hamid has expressed deep shock and sorrow at the death of Leader of the Opposition in Parliament and Jatiya Party Chairman Hussain Muhammad Ershad.
The President prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family.
Ershad, also a former president, died at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in the city on Sunday morning.
