The government has extended the deadline for the registration of online news portals until July 15 (Monday).

A handout, signed by Nasrin Parvin, deputy secretary to the Information Ministry, confirmed about the extended deadline on Wednesday.

The previous deadline in this connection expired on June 30.

The authorities of the online news portals can apply through filling up specific forms of the website of PID http://www.pressinform.gov.bd.

They can also submit their application by post along with all documents.
