‘Ensure preservation of environment’
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has stressed the need for taking steps to ensure preservation of environment to make the development sustainable.
The Prime Minister said this at a programme on Thursday at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city marking the World Environment Day-2019.
She said, “We are working to create 30 per cent forestland of country’s total area”.
