{"id":9046,"date":"2024-08-29T13:14:22","date_gmt":"2024-08-29T13:14:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/?p=9046"},"modified":"2024-08-29T13:14:22","modified_gmt":"2024-08-29T13:14:22","slug":"8-ex-ministers-6-mps-barred-from-leaving-country","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2024\/08\/29\/8-ex-ministers-6-mps-barred-from-leaving-country\/","title":{"rendered":"8 ex-ministers, 6 MPs barred from leaving country"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A Dhaka court imposed travel embargo on former eight ministers and six lawmakers from the Awami League government.<\/p>\n<p>Judge Mohammed Ash-Shams Joglul Hossain of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge\u2019s Court passed the order on Thursday (August 29), following a plea of the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC).<\/p>\n<p>The eight former ministers with travel embargo are- Jahid Maleque, Dr Dipu Moni, Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury Nowfel, Sadhan Chandra Mazumder, Nurul Mazid Mahmud Humayun, Kamal Ahmed Mazumder, Shahjahan Khan and Qamrul Islam.<\/p>\n<p>The six former lawmakers are- Solim Uddin, Mamunur Rashid Kiron, Kujendro Lala Tripura, Qazim Uddin, Nur E Alam Chowdhury and Ziaur Rahman.<\/p>\n<p>ACC prosecutor Mahmud Hossain Jahangir confirmed the information.<\/p>\n<p>ACC deputy director Abu Hena Ashikur Rahman filed a plea regarding the travel embargo.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Dhaka court imposed travel embargo on former eight ministers and six lawmakers from the Awami League government.
