New<\/p>\n<p>The advisory council also approved an ordinance to amend the \u201cSpecial Security Force (SSF) Act.\u201d Through the amendment, the clauses that mandated SSF support for Bangabandhu\u2019s family were removed, and a new clause was added for extending SSF support to the chief adviser of the interim government.<\/p>\n<p>According to a press release, the Advisory Council gave final approval to the draft \u2018Security of Family Members of the Father of the Nation (Repeal) Ordinance, 2024\u2019 subject to vetting by the Legislative and Parliamentary Affairs Division.<\/p>\n<p>The interim government is the outcome of an anti-discrimination movement.
