The protesters blocked the road around 11:00 am and took position at Kazla bus stand. The blockade due to the protest, caused a severe traffic jam on several kilometres of the highway.<\/p>\n
Wari zone ADC Masudur Rahman Monir rushed to the spot and requested the students to keep the traffic movement normal.<\/p>\n
Mahtab, a student of Dr Mahbubur Rahman Mollah College, said we have come to press our demand. We have come here to protest against the attack on my brothers and sisters.<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, police forces were seen on both sides of the road to avert any kinds of untoward incidents.<\/p>\n
On the other hand, students from BRAC University took position on Merul Badda road and blocked the street around 10:00 am.<\/p>\n
Badda police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Yeasin said additional police forces were deployed in the area.<\/p>\n
