{"id":8750,"date":"2024-01-31T11:57:15","date_gmt":"2024-01-31T11:57:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/?p=8750"},"modified":"2024-01-31T11:57:15","modified_gmt":"2024-01-31T11:57:15","slug":"emrul-kayas-becomes-pms-deputy-press-secretary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2024\/01\/31\/emrul-kayas-becomes-pms-deputy-press-secretary\/","title":{"rendered":"Emrul Kayas becomes PM\u2019s deputy press secretary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister\u2019s Assistant Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas has been promoted to the post of deputy press secretary at the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office (PMO).<\/p>\n<p>The Public Administration Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Emrul Kayas, a 28th batch Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) information cadre, became Deputy Secretary of the government.<\/p>\n<p>He was serving as the Prime Minister&#8217;s Assistant Press Secretary since 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Son of a valiant freedom fighter and a Ratnagarva mother, Emrul Kayas was born in 1978 to a respected Muslim family in Kamshia village of Naragati Thana in Narail district and passed his childhood in Khulna.<\/p>\n<div class=\"adv-img text-center d-print-none\">He obtained his honours and master degrees in English Language and Literature from English Department of Jahangirnagar University (JU).<\/div>\n<p>Before joining the civil service, Emrul Kayas served as English lecturer at different colleges, including Dhaka Residential Model College, in the capital city for five and a half years.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister\u2019s Assistant Press Secretary MM Emrul Kayas has been promoted to the post of deputy press secretary at the Prime Minister&#8217;s Office (PMO).
