{"id":7858,"date":"2023-06-13T12:17:53","date_gmt":"2023-06-13T12:17:53","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/?p=7858"},"modified":"2023-06-13T12:17:53","modified_gmt":"2023-06-13T12:17:53","slug":"over-2-82-lakh-children-to-get-vitamin-a-plus-capsules-in-bhola","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2023\/06\/13\/over-2-82-lakh-children-to-get-vitamin-a-plus-capsules-in-bhola\/","title":{"rendered":"Over 2.82 lakh children to get Vitamin A Plus capsules in Bhola"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 2,82,679 children of under-five age group will be fed Vitamin A Plus capsules on June 18 in seven upazilas of the district during the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Civil surgeon of the district Dr. KM Shafikuzzaman disclosed this information to the journalists at a press conference, held in the conference room of the civil surgeon office of the district this afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The campaign will be conducted under the auspices of the Public Health and Nutrition Institute and National Nutrition Services under the Ministry of Health and Family Planning with UNICEF assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Civil surgeon Dr. KM Shafikuzzaman narrated the importance of continuation of Vitamin A supplementation for the under-five children to prevent mal-nutritional blindness, especially night blindness, bi-tot&#8217;s spots and corneal lesions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Immunization of the under-five babies with Vitamin A Plus capsules is crucial for strengthening their immune system and disease resistance capacity for healthier growth,<\/p>\n<p>He also said 4,042 health workers and volunteers will provide Vitamin A Plus capsules at 1,690 centres in seven upazilas of the district on Sunday next from 8 am to 4 pm.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A total of 2,82,679 children of under-five age group will be fed Vitamin A Plus capsules on June 18 in seven upazilas of the district during the National Vitamin A Plus Campaign 2023.
