{"id":7617,"date":"2023-05-26T19:49:43","date_gmt":"2023-05-26T19:49:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/?p=7617"},"modified":"2023-05-26T20:00:54","modified_gmt":"2023-05-26T20:00:54","slug":"govt-feels-no-pressure-for-new-us-visa-policy","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2023\/05\/26\/govt-feels-no-pressure-for-new-us-visa-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"\u2018Govt feels no pressure for new US visa policy\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen has said that the present government feels on pressure for the newly-announced US visa policy.<\/p>\n<p>The Foreign Minister came up with the remark while responding to a question of a journalist at the Foreign Ministry on Thursday.<br \/>\nPrime Minister Sheikh Hasina wants free and fair elections and this policy will further strengthen her position, he said.<\/p>\n<p>Political parties, which resort to violence, arson and destruction, will remain cautious after US&#8217;s announcement of imposing visa restrictions those who are \u2018responsible for, or complicit in, the democratic election process in Bangladesh\u2019, he pointed out.<br \/>\n\u201cWe don&#8217;t want arson, violence and destruction.
