{"id":7404,"date":"2021-11-02T10:07:40","date_gmt":"2021-11-02T10:07:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/?p=7404"},"modified":"2021-11-02T10:07:40","modified_gmt":"2021-11-02T10:07:40","slug":"pm-urges-expatriates-to-invest-more-in-bangladesh","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2021\/11\/02\/pm-urges-expatriates-to-invest-more-in-bangladesh\/","title":{"rendered":"PM urges expatriates to invest more in Bangladesh"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the expatriate Bangladeshis across the world to make more investment in Bangladesh.<\/p>\n<p>The premier made this call while speaking at a civic reception accorded to her by the expatriate Bangladeshis living in Scotland.<\/p>\n<p>She joined the ceremony virtually from her place of residence here last night (Monday).<\/p>\n<p>Sheikh Hasina also referred to the two per cent incentive introduced by her government for the expatriate Bangladeshis for sending money home from abroad using proper channels.<\/p>\n<p>The government has also established a separate bank for the convenience of the expatriate Bangladeshis, she said.<\/p>\n<p>Responding to some of the inconveniences faced by the expatriates to invest in Bangladesh, the prime minister said actually she didn&#8217;t know what kind of problems they are facing for investment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere will be a Road Show in London, where I will ask Bangladesh Development and Investment Authority (BIDA) to look into the matter,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Source: BSS<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged the expatriate Bangladeshis across the world to make more investment in Bangladesh.
