The rescue operation has begun soon in the river.<\/p>\n<p>The vessel sunk at Koylaghat area on Sunday (April 04) evening after being hit by a tanker while it was heading towards Munshiganj from Narayanganj.<\/p>\n<p>Port Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Deepak Chandra Shaha confirmed the matter.<\/p>\n<p>Rescuers of Police, Navy and Fire Service started the rescue operation around 8:00 pm.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, a storm lashed Narayanganj around 7:15 pm, causing late to begin the rescue operation, the OC said.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, it was learned that rescue ship Prtyay is heading towards the sunk vessel.<\/p>\n<p>S\/A\/04\/04\/2021<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Launch has capsized on Sunday evening (04 April) in Shitalakhya river with more than 50 passangers.
