{"id":4818,"date":"2020-10-07T20:56:21","date_gmt":"2020-10-07T20:56:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/?p=4818"},"modified":"2020-10-07T20:56:21","modified_gmt":"2020-10-07T20:56:21","slug":"pm-places-four-point-proposal-to-combat-climate-change","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2020\/10\/07\/pm-places-four-point-proposal-to-combat-climate-change\/","title":{"rendered":"PM places four-point proposal to combat climate change"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday (October 07) placed a four-point proposal including at a virtual \u201cClimate Vulnerable Leaders\u2019 Event\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>She made the proposal at the event titled \u201cMidnight Survival Deadline for the Climate\u201d while presiding over it as the current Chair of Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF).<\/p>\n<p>The proposals are:<\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Strict implementation of the Paris Agreement is the only way to slow down the current rate of damage caused by climate change.<br \/>\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0The governments should not only honour their national contributions under the Paris Agreement, they also need to substantially increase their ambitions.
