Former South African cricketer has resigned from his post as batting consultant of Bangladesh National Team.<\/p>\n
Bangladesh Cricket Board CEO Nizamuddin Chowdhury confirmed about his resignation.<\/p>\n
He said, \u201cNeil McKenzie has formally submitted resignation letter to BCB. He cited that he cannot be with BCB no longer at this moment. However, if Bangladesh cricket calls him again at any time, he said he is interested in working here.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nizamuddin Chowdhury further said in a statement, \u201cHe was one of the best coaches of Bangladesh. We thanked him for making Bangladesh change in white ball cricket. We, on behalf of BCB, wish he would be well.\u201d<\/p>\n
McKenzie became Bangladesh’s white-ball batting consultant in July 2018 and soon became an effective instructor. He wanted his batsmen to practice “skilled hitting”, where they didn’t just go for broke, but found the right areas in the field to find the most runs.
