{"id":2491,"date":"2019-12-01T15:18:56","date_gmt":"2019-12-01T15:18:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.jonotarsomoy.com\/?p=2491"},"modified":"2019-12-01T15:18:56","modified_gmt":"2019-12-01T15:18:56","slug":"kushtia-double-murder-4-sentenced-to-death-7-get-life-term","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/jonotarsomoy.com\/en\/2019\/12\/01\/kushtia-double-murder-4-sentenced-to-death-7-get-life-term\/","title":{"rendered":"Kushtia double murder: 4 sentenced to death, 7 get life term"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A tribunal in Kushtia sentenced four people to death and seven others to life imprisonment for killing two men in 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Kushtia Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Judge Munshi Md Moshiar Rahman delivered the verdict on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>The death row convicts are \u2013 Kamal Hossain Malitha, son of Nurul Islam of Gopalnagar in Bheramara upazila; Kamrul Paramanik, son of Kabul Hossain Malitha; Sumon Pramanik; and Nayan Sheikh, son of Nazrul Islam of Fakirabad village of the same upazila.<\/p>\n<p>Those who have been sentenced to life imprisonment are \u2013 Nazrul Sheikh, Abdur Rahim, Mahfuzur Rahman, Hridoy Ali, Ziaul Islam, Samrat Ali and Arshaf Malitha of Fakirabad village.<\/p>\n<p>Of the convicts, Nayan, Mahfuzur and Samrat are absconding.<\/p>\n<p>According to the prosecution, Muzibur Rahman and his uncle Mizanur Rahman were hacked to death by a group of people after they protested against the eve-teasing of a seventh-grader girl on April 25, 2016.<\/p>\n<p>Muzibur\u2019s son filed a case with Bheramara Police Station over the murder.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A tribunal in Kushtia sentenced four people to death and seven others to life imprisonment for killing two men in 2016.
